Roughapproximation offers professional geodetic surveying, land topography, and boundary demarcation services. These include high-resolution optical total station surveys, satellite positioning, topographic profiling, elevation curve determination for rural drainage planning, and certified land boundary preparation for municipal register documentation. All services are performed in accordance with applicable professional standards and regulatory requirements.
The client agrees to provide accurate and complete information regarding the survey area, including property boundaries, access permissions, and any existing survey records. The client is responsible for ensuring safe site access and for obtaining any necessary permits or authorizations. Delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate client information may result in revised timelines and additional charges.
Roughapproximation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of survey data, including but not limited to construction errors, design flaws, or legal disputes. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific survey in question. This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
All survey data, reports, maps, and digital files produced by Roughapproximation remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon payment, the client receives a non-exclusive license to use the deliverables for the intended purpose. The client may not resell, redistribute, or repurpose the data without prior written consent. Roughapproximation retains the right to use anonymized project data for quality improvement and portfolio purposes.
Either party may terminate a service agreement with 14 days written notice. In the event of termination, the client shall pay for all work completed up to the termination date, including field work, data processing, and any deliverables produced. Roughapproximation reserves the right to suspend services if the client fails to meet payment obligations or provide necessary site access within agreed timelines.
Roughapproximation reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. For material changes, we will provide direct notice to active clients via email.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the survey services are performed. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant professional surveying association.
